Khalir attributes his musical feel to enthusiastically watching live performances of yesterday’s musical superstars at Philly’s famous Uptown Theatre. "There was a hole in the backdoor just big enough for kids to climb through and sneak into the show" recalls Khalir. “We would spend the entire Saturday catching the afternoon and evening shows of legendary artists like The Temptations, The Supremes, Smokey & the Miracles, Little Stevie Wonder, Jerry Butler, James Brown and many more legendary pioneers”.

Starting a musical career as a percussionist Khalir has backed local musicians as well as national and international artists playing conga and percussion. It soon led to a demand to bring the artist in front of the microphone on weddings, corporate events, fundraisers and other catered events. As a singer and entertainer Khalir has performed from New York to San Diego, Manila, and the Dominican Republic. Khalir has performed at catered events that include celebrities, professional athletes, and political figures as well as countless wedding and party guests throughout the Delaware Valley and beyond. His refinement of master of ceremony skills and years of experience brings each client a feeling of confidence in the flow and success of the evening’s event.
